Kristin Loya, a native Oregonian, is a graduate of both FIT and Parsons School of Design in New York City. She has been drawing and taking photographs since she was a small child. She has extensive international travel and experience living abroad—including Japan, France, Nepal, and Southeast Asia.
Kristin is conversant in Japanese. She is continually inspired by foreign culture, language, colors, patterns, and textiles. She sells and exhibits her photography in both the US and Japan.
Her favorite camera to use is an old Pentax K-1000.
She currently works as a freelance photographer, illustrator, and fashion designer, and is based out of New York City.
